It's rare that I revisit my sheds, but this week, when installing an additional shed for the same customer, I had chance to look around her original shed. I'm glad to say that it's looking even better than it did when it was brand new, the timber having mellowed nicely.

It's a fairly large step to go from building sheds to a garage for a Land Rover, but we think we've managed it quite well.
Next time maybe we'll make a full size one! This useful garden store is now sitting proudly in a London front garden. The reclaimed slate roof makes it seem like it's been there for years, and perfectly compliments the Victorian house.
It just goes to show that sometimes less is more. This very simple, unpainted shed looks lovely sat in the top corner of it's Cotswold garden. The cedar shingle roof and high grade timber walls will mellow soon allowing the Carlisle Brass reeded door knob to stand out on an otherwise pretty blank canvas.
